This is a quick one.

We all have our creative processes. I rigorously respect a fellow artist who goes through the pains and turmoil of learning how to share their gift with others. Painters, musicians, developers, all alike in their creative flow. We all strive to create and share, and that is a beautiful human quality to have.

For me, songwriting is difficult and I have learned to lean into the discomfort of finding out what process works for me. I have taken after John Mayer's "ouiji boarding" style of first coming up with a chord progression and melody and then humming and jiving to the chords... riffing bar after bar.

At first, it started sounding the same, but after a while and a lot of practice, I have been able to create entire songs from scratch simply riffing along to chord progressions.

Tonight, I came up with a song called "Risk it for the Biscuit"... Check it out here
